It Feels Good Being Bad

not gonna lie…
she is the most complex character on the show and i have loved her all throughout her parents divorce storyline. i didnt even like her in seasons 8 and 9, but i have LOVED her since her parents got a divorce. how she is acting is completely relatable. she feels like everyone has neglected her… because they have.

• her parents have divorced, her mom moved on with a new man and didn’t even ask clare how she felt
• her dad moved on with a new woman and stopped talking to clare (he should’ve been the one to reach out as the parent)
• eli was dangerously sick towards the end of their relationship and scared her
• jake, her boyfriend at the time, became her frieken step brother and she lost him
• alli, her best friend, kissed her boyfriend (the end of their friendship is entirely alli’s fault - clare reacted like any teenage girl or boy would and YOU ALL KNOW IT)

she has been acting selfish throughout season 11, but who wouldn’t when everyone has made you seem worthless? if she doesn’t stick up for herself and her aspirations then who would? her breakdown has been coming, it has been needed, and thank god in Not Ready To Make Nice we are finally seeing her reflect on her issues and breakdown.

eclarefadam is an upcoming sitcom about four friends who have known each other since high school and now share a house together as they venture out into the adult world. Clare (Aislinn Paul) is a lawyer who likes to bring her work home with her and stay out of other people’s business, leaving little to no time for fun. Eli (Munro Chambers), is Clare’s ex boyfriend who still has feelings for her and often tries to woo her with his poems and short stories as he struggles to write for the local newspaper while working on his unfinished novel. Adam (Jordan Todosey) is a transgender who is often confused for the opposite sex, though doesn’t let it get to him as he finds newfound confidence while navigating the twists and turns of running a resturaunt. Fiona (Annie Clark) is a lesbian and compulsive alcoholic who struggles with relationships, careers, and everyday decisions such as opening a box of cereal or twisting the cap off a water bottle. The first season, which consists of 12 chapters released weekly and written together in narrative format, follows the on again, off again romance of Eli and Clare, who wonder why after their 3 month relationship ended 10 years ago they still find themselves still seeing each other everyday, while Fiona tries different jobs (and mostly tries not to get fired before her first paycheck), and Adam finding true love.
